New Uni’s

Gregg has had a few calls with regard to the uniform. Just to make things easy he has extended the closing date on the site until March 28th.

If kids need to try things on it is best that they go to the store – Regatta Sport in Port  to try on samples. Gregg has brought them down to the club the last couple of mornings but it hasn’t worked out too well.

If anyone has any questions about the fit, they can contact Gregg directly or phone the store.

Jr. Girls

All Jr. girls sweep crews please meet at the island sunday @ 10:00 for a short row and equipment set up practice. Great job today by all the girls that made it out. any questions please email me .

Parent Meeting Review and Additions

Thankyou to all the parents that came out to our meeting last night. What a terrific turn-out! It feels wonderful to have your support for our program, as you all play such a huge part in our rowing successes.

Gary Washuta has offered to design and organize this year’s Bulldog Rowing Parent Wear. Thank you Gary! I am anticipating my new look already!

Thank you again to Sandra Potter who is our Go-To Parent for the Bulldog Tent this year. She is going to need everyone’s help donating time and refreshments. The tent is such an important part of regatta days – for us and our athletes! Please offer your services by contacting her at 905-227-8567 or spotter3@cogeco.ca

Please do not forget to continue to support rowing at SWC by getting your grocery cards! If you can’t make it into the main office yourself, please send your $ to me via your child and I will make those arrangements.

Registration Fee

My apologies for the confusion regarding registration fees – a little rusty getting back into the game. The fee is $332 – club fee of $232 plus $100 SWC equipment fee.

Don’t forget to deduct $25 if you were successful in fundraising more than $100 in the citrus fund raiser.

Parent-Coaches Meeting

A Parent-Coaches Meeting has been set for Wednesday March 20 from 6 – 7 pm in the Guidance area at SWC. This will be an opportunity for parents to meet coaches, other parents, arrange car-pooling and ask any questions before crews hit the water.

Club Fees and Registration

ROWERS

FEES: The St. Catharines Rowing Club fee for 2013 is $332 for each high school student.  It is due to Ms. Hunt NOW. Please make cheques out to Sir Winston Churchill S.S.

Remember that if you raised more than $100 on the Citrus Fundraiser you are eligible for a $25.00 deduction. Call Ms. Hunt if you have questions ext 64823
