Tag Day Help

If any parent is available to help out with Tag Day, please let your coach know. Junior Boys is especially looking for adult supervision. All coaches would appreciate any help you can offer – and hour or two would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Tag Day May 11 and Mother’s Day Regatta May 12

Yet another  busy weekend approaches:

Tag Day is this coming Saturday. Your child will be asked to spend a shift at a location to sell “tags” for the SCRC. This is an important fund-raiser for our club and all athletes need to participate. There is NO rowing this day. Please ask your child for a letter/permission form coming from me this coming week for more details.

This is followed by The Mother’s Day Regatta on Sunday. The Bulldog Tent will be set up and I know that Sandra Potter will be looking for donations of food and refreshments. Bagels, cream cheese, oranges, granola bars (peanut free), fruit and other carb/high energy foods are most appreciated. The food at the tent is meant to act as a healthy supplement to your child’s food for the day – do not expect that there is enough for a full lunch! Thank you, as always!

John Bennett Wrap-Up

A very successful outing for the Bulldog Rowing Program in Buffalo today. We had (about) 8 boats make the finals and we came away placing top three in all but one event – including 2 first (Sr Boys Quad and Jr Girls 8). Well done! Please visit our Gallery to see photos from the day. Thank you everyone who helped make the day fun, donated food, carried bags and cared for our athletes. A beautiful day to row. A great day to be a Bulldog!
